Welcome to English at the Alternative School! This is my 15th year at ACAS and my 40th year teaching high school English. I look forward to working with each of you as you progress through the school year. I expect all of my English students to do their best in class, to put forth the effort that is needed to succeed in all areas, and to be respectful to all at ACAS. Doing these things will help you to reach your goals this year.

2nd Nine Week's Report CardsAll assignments for the 2nd nine week's report card are due by January 17th. Please follow your individual assignments sheets for this. You have 4 weeks to complete all of your assignments.
Nova NetCredit Recovery students may work on Nova Net assignments at home. Students may not take pre or post tests at home. These students do have a list of their assignments that they need to complete for English credit.
Literature BooksLiterature books may be checked out and taken home at any time to complete assignments. Please see me before taking one from the room. Workbooks may also be checked out.
